Frequently asked questions


How does it all work?
We hire the space to you, and you have the freedom to design your dream wedding. You set the party up (or hire vendors to do it for you) and pack it down. As long as the house and lawns are left in the same manner that you found them, then the sky's the limit!

What does the onsite manager do on our wedding day?
Between the two of us, we mow your ceremony site fresh on the wedding day, help your guests park their cars, help vendors arrive (ie, make sure your food truck doesn't arrive during your ceremony!), we drive you around in the Polaris for your photos, light the fire pits for you, organise alpaca feedings for you and/or your guests (great party trick!), we deal with rubbish on the night and make sure your guests are heading home at 10pm.


Do you set anything up for us?

No we don't, but we will be there on the day to lend a helping hand with last minute things. 

Do you have a list of suppliers you work with regularly?

We do! It's called our Friendly Vendors list, and is a list of all the fun people who have worked at Maleny Orchard so far. The pdf can can be emailed through upon request. 

Do you have photos of the items included in your function fee? 
We have a Google Drive filled with photos of all our chairs, tables, barrels, arbour, bench seats, signing table, cake table, easels, glassware, tableware etc. There's also a birds eye view of our front lawn with measurements so you can print it out and draw a mud map. We can share the link upon request. 


What are the check in and check out times?
You get to choose! We work in 24 hour blocks, so the time you choose to check in will be the same time you check out. For example, a 10am Friday check in means 10am Sunday check out. Or maybe you want to have everyone over for post-wedding Sunday brunch, so a 3pm check in / check out combo might suit you best.
